Oh man, it's been a crazy first week. Can't believe I'm already this busy, nearly no free time. Kappa Sigma rush went well, flyered a lot and we got 4 quality guys. Excited. =]PAD Rush starts next week.
Just been so tired lately, too much to do, so little time. I've got about 16 things on my to-do list and that's not all inclusive. Kinda already stressed out. So little time but way to much to do.
Saturday was pretty sick. We had 3D6 (Davis Deadly Derby) which is a bicycle scavenger race filled with various events (Find map @ Death Star, find book @ lib, get to the top of Sci Lec, Go to the co-ops, plant a potato, play bike polo, hurling and frisbee at Big Kids Park, then a race to the Domes) We won last year as Team BirdOctopus and we pulled off another win as we tied with team Drugs Sex & Candy. It was really fun with a buncha fun obstacles (finally used a hurling stick!) But it was a lotta fun and we got a buncha guys from DavisFixed to come out and race. Props to Davis Bike Collective & Darach for running another fun event. =]
Just got home from a pretty amazing day in Tahoe. We were really worried because it was pretty icy when we first got there, but conditions improved sooooo much after the sun came out and it was really fun. Perfect conditions with enough powder so it wasn't ice. Got some good jumps in which made me happy since I probably shouldn't be doing anything crazy, but the were small jumps! Hahah, landed all but one and got some pretty good air on a few. The only injury for me was taking a Woods run too fast, hitting a small jump and smacking my head on ice... Again! Hahah, goggles flew off with glasses and beanie, but I was fine. Dull ache now. Overall, a great day. Now back to Davis, the grind, and the suck.
