Big White + Kewlona (?)

No picture update, due to me leaving the laptop at home along with all my cables, fail, yes.

Suffered through hell Asian tour, it's not been an organized or good trip, but I'm snowboarding, so I'm all happy.

Had a pretty amazing day today at Big White, got 17 runs in. Freakin COLD over here, thought Cypress (White-out + Ice winds + Snow was bad), but today....Today was intense. -15C, ice winds, and snow. But freaking awesome. Makes you feel alive you know? The mountain has AMAZING views, looks out to this amazing snow covered valley, and city... God I really love that kind of scene. Hurt myself a bit doing some ghetto-made jumps, but landed a few good one's...

My aunt said next year to drive up to Whistler with a bunch of friends and rent a cabin... Any takers? =)

FOOD COMA.

Haha, another busy day. Food Coma. Woke up, paid respect to great grandfather and great grandmother, dim sum, hung out with a AWESOME (Read: lame) cousin, saw True Grit, and had an amazing, but way too much food (Peking Duck, Snake Soup, Crab, Lobster, Veggies, Chicken. =)

What a day.

Oh man. Got woken up at 6. They found my LUGGAGE! So I went back to the aiport to pick it up so I could snowboard today.

Met up with my Uncle then, went snowboarding. AMAZING DAY. We did 10 runs, and only two bad crashes. Weather was terri-bad. Fog all day, and at the end of the day there was a white-out (Aka, you could see maybe 50 feet in front of you on top, and nothing else because of the fog), and it made boarding oddly disconcerting as you had no clue where you were or how fast you were going... Almost went off the edge, lol. The snow was horrible. Gusts of wind 40-50km/h apparently, with icy snow so it hurt when it pelted across your face. Ski lift you could barely make out the lift in front of you. Snowboarding the way it was meant to be boarded. So sick. So amazing.

Worst Day Ever.

Ugh, just got into Canada. Thank god. What turned into a short flight to Canada, turned into 15 hours of flying and airports. 

Got on the flight to LAX (Free upgrade too!), some idiot decided to walk out of the plane minutes before departure (I hope you're in a TSA holding cell still), which triggered another passenger to walk out. And the flight attendant who was in charge back there, had HUGE eyes, and SHE WALKED OFF THE PLANE TOO. So naturally, all of us in front were like "uh... I kinda want to get off." Then we spent another hour on the tarmac running security protocol, so I missed the connecting flight to Vancouver

Then, they booked me to go BACK to SFO to fly direct to Vancouver, but I was having none of that, so I got a direct flight from LAX to YVR, but with a 5 hour layover, so bummed around. Got on the flight, my little display for the TV didn't work, and when I got to YVR, guess what. No bags. And I'm supposed to board tomorrow.

I hate life. Pics?!

BTW, the picture of food? My EPIC Christmas dinner, which was terri-bad. Highlight of Christmas dinner? Sliced apples in a bag.

So I found this new webiste Lens Hero from http://www.lifehacker.com. It's a pretty an amazing website for amateur/professional photographers. It's quite an easy website too! All you need to do is plug in what kind of camera you have, and the budget you want! Then you can select what you want to use the lens for and the zoom you want. Or, if you have no clue, it'll suggest lenses to you based on what you already have!

It searches what lens you have already and finds another compatible lens as well as a quick link as to how much it would cost.

Loving the website, plan to use it for some research when I need to find my next lens!

49ers v. Chargers

Terrible game.

Garth Defelice made a disgusting call on 49ers Justin Smith. He was ejected for "intentionally" making contact with a referee.

A) That's complete bullshit. You can see in the replay that the referee wasn't even in his field of view. Justin Smith got pushed from the side, and rather than try to start a fight, he pushes Garth Defelice to the side to prevent another fight.

B) If you watch Garth's reaction, the flag comes out immediately, and he stares Justin Smith down. Complete bull. And a total over reaction. I've seen hundreds of games where players have pushed referees aside, and NO referee has ever pulled a flag or ejected a player.

I personally think Garth should be fined and give an apology to Justin Smith for his own hotheadedness. Remember this is the referee that TACKLED another player

He's got a history of bad calls. At the very least fine him, at the largest, fire him.

Oh and that tackle that was out-of-bounds? Complete bull. Watch the play, the tackle was committed when the player was in-bounds. The Charger guy went farrrrr out, but the tackle was still initiated in-bounds.

Thank god finals were finished. God. I swear it wrecked hell on my life. Finished it all!

So we went to Tahoe and had fun in the snow! Boarded by myself but still fun! Caught a few runs with David & Emily at the end! Got my Kerropi watch in Colfax and had an amazing Salmon + Bacon Sandwich for lunch!

Ugh. No chance to take pictures recently, been cooped up taking notes and prepping for Essays. Just finished a 10 pager on Tuesday, got a 10 pager that I need to read, research, prep, and write due tomorrow... Then I still have 2 more papers to write. FML.
